# How We Do Information Flow

We're always dealing with information. Receiving it, interpreting it, producing it, sending it. We'll often use different [technologies](/handbook/guides-for-working-at-att/our-digital-tools.md) and processes to deal with information. Below are some principles we try to live by.

### Trust

We trust each other to get information to the right people and places. We trust Circle Leads and Reps to channel Tensions between Circles. If something's urgent, we trust each other to prioritise it and respond. We trust each other to ask for help and get the right people together to deal with information.

### Transparency

We share new knowledge with each other. We get people the information they need to work towards our purpose. We're straight and open. We're honest when asked what work's on our plate, what our priorities are or when we think we'll get something done.

### Longevity

We keep tomorrow in mind. We stay organised so our successors can find the information they need. We store information outside our heads so it can be passed on to others.

### **Accessibility**

We acknowledge everyone handles information differently. We speak and write simply. We use alternative formats - images, videos, workshops - to communicate and engage each other.
