We're not a conventional management hierarchy. At the same time, we aren't a "flat" or "structureless" organisation either! We don't believe it's possible to be entirely flat.

Instead, we strive to manage ourselves in a way that helps us to move quickly, collaborate in a liberated way, as well as do the right work and do it well. We call this Self Organising.

To self-organise effectively, we use a management system called Holacracy to distribute authority throughout the organisation. There are no bosses here! Instead, we consciously maintain a system of clear roles, policies and agreements. This system defines who does what, how work gets done. We use this system to understand what we can expect of each other, and as a result we don't need to rely on bosses to dictate "how things are done around here".

In addition to Holacracy, we also use methods like Getting Things Done and Matrix Leadership to build a holistic Self Organising experience that is bolstered by trust and wholeness.
