Contributor Rights & Expectations

Our Membership Structure describes a Contributor as any person who helps ATT without holding a formal role. We expect all Members and Contributors to align and uphold the rights Contributors have, and what is expected of them.

If you are an ATT Contributor, you have the right to:

  1. Have a "point-person" who you can ask questions and seek guidance and feedback from.

  2. Receive orientation to help you navigate ATT.

  3. Receive clear communication on what work is expected of you and what authority you have.

  4. Receive training necessary to carry out work that's requested of you.

  5. Carry out your work in a safe and healthy working environment.

  6. Be reimbursed for money you've been approved to spend on behalf of ATT.

  7. Be recognised for your contributions.

  8. Have your personal information treated with confidentiality.

  9. Provide feedback on how ATT can improve, and have any complaints or grievances received in a respectful and appropriate manner.

We expect Contributors to:

  1. Support and align with ATT’s Mission and Core Values throughout the course of your involvement with ATT.

  2. Adhere to select Norms & Processes such as our Respect in the Workplace agreement, Open Organising agreement and our Grievance Procedure. Note that due to resource constraints, some processes outlined in Community Agreements may not be available to Contributors.

  3. Participate in all relevant training or orientation.

  4. Be reliable, communicative, and commit, where possible and appropriate, to regular day/s and times of work so tasks can be planned accordingly.

  5. Follow reasonable direction and advice from ATT Members.

  6. Communicate any special needs or medical conditions that you would like ATT to be aware of.

  7. Be open and honest in your dealings with us and let us know how we can support you or otherwise improve.

  8. Constructively engage with conflicts or other issues that are harming ATT’s ability to pursue its Mission, using the guidelines provided in the Conflict Transformation System.
